Real-time, military-grade, MWIR hyperspectral imaging system

Comprising a very high-speed, high-sensitivity MWIR array and imaging spectrometer, the SOC-750 is ideal for dynamic scene applications. The SOC-750 can acquire and process spectral imagery at a rate of 11 cubes (256 x 240 pixels x 42 bands) per second at 14-bit resolution. Lower spatial resolution cubes can be acquired at higher speeds. Covering the 2-5 μm spectral range, the SOC-750 is offered in two configurations, using a different focal plane and tradeoffs in spectral resolution, spatial resolution, temporal resolution, sensitivity, and maximum viewable radiance.

High Spectral Resolution

Real-time applications such as machine vision, biological screening, and chemical leak detection require immediate feedback. The SOC750’s unique processor performs on-the-fly hyperspectral processing at supercomputer speeds, overcoming the processing bottleneck inherent in most hyperspectral processing systems. With multiple matched filters examining incoming data and three spectral integrators, the SOC750 processor supports many common processing challenges.
