Calibration Coupons
Calibration coupons are reference materials made from stable and homogeneously coated materials with precisely known reflectance properties in the spectral bands of SOC410 Series reflectometers. Calibration coupons are necessary to ensure the accuracy of 410 Series reflectance measurements.
Please use our contact form to request a quote for new calibration coupon(s) and include the serial number of your instrument so we can confirm the correct calibration coupons for your instrument are provided.

Send a sample data and log file for your instrument and our team will be happy to help assess if there are measurement errors due to compromised calibration coupons.
NIST Traceable Coupons
Surface Optics offers both standard and NIST traceable calibration coupons. For standard coupons, several candidates from each manufacturing run are measured to produce a batch average. NIST traceable coupon(s) is an optional upgrade. NIST traceable coupons are individually measured against a NIST standard, and a Calibration Certificate is generated for the individual coupon. Calibration data is available for an additional fee.
Service Plans
Getting your 410 Series Reflectometer tuned and factory calibrated is the best way to ensure that it maintains its high level of measurement integrity throughout the instrument’s lifetime. We recommend annual servicing and replacement of calibration coupons to keep your reflectometer operating at peak performance.
